Terms of Service for Wholesale and Custom Orders
o Unless specified otherwise on the official quote, quotes are valid for ten (10) days. Purchasers understand that placing an order after these dates will impact service paramaters such as, for example, delivery dates.
o We accept VISA, MasterCard and business cheques.
o Cheques will be held 5-7 business days to clear before shipping (no exception).
o All payments must be made in full before shipping.
o Shipping charges are dealt with separately on the day that the order is ready to ship. Shipping charges are not provided on the initial quote or purchase order.
o All prices are in (CAD) Canadian Dollars, only (CAD) Canadian dollars will be accepted for payment towards Products, Shipping, and Sales Tax.
o We reserve the right to refuse an order at any time.
o Custom orders: due to the nature of custom orders, they cannot be cancelled after they have been placed.
o Wholesale orders: to cancel your order please send an email quoting your P.O. number and reason for cancelling to firstname.lastname@example.org, or alternatively call 1.514.313.6111 please note that orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch.
o Glow Products Canada (GPC) makes every effort to maintain accurate inventory information online and to prevent items from going out of stock. However, due to the volume of orders we receive and the variety of ordering methods available to our customers, it is possible for items to sell out before we are able to fill all pending orders. If your order contains an item or items which are partially out of stock, or out of stock, one of the following two procedures will be followed:
1) If your order is partly out of stock or is out of stock for 10 days, GPC will hold the order until the outstanding stock comes in, unless GPC receives specific instructions from the customer (by phone or an email to email@example.com).
2) If more than 10 days pass and your order is still partially out-of-stock, GPC will contact you by email or phone to get your specific instructions regarding the order; for instance, to determine whether you wish to place your order on backorder or cancel it. o Custom orders: GPC will not accept returns on custom orders
o Wholesale orders: if not completely satisfied with your product(s), you may return any items for a refund. Returns are accepted with our authorization only. To receive an authorization number, please email us within 7 days of receipt of goods with your order number. Merchandise must be in perfect condition and will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Once an authorization number has been provided, customers must return the product within seven (7) days. Authorized returns will be refunded to your original account within 7 days of receiving (and inspecting) the return from you.
o Air Delivery usually occurs within 2.5 weeks; however, it can take up to 30 days. Delivery by sea usually occurs within 7 weeks; however, it can take up to 11 weeks. GPC cannot be responsible for delivery delays resulting from customs, acts of nature, carrier interruption, etc.
o GPC is not responsible for lost/damaged packages if uninsured. Damaged boxes should be inspected before accepting delivery.
o GPC is not responsible for any customs charges or taxes and brokerage fees.
o Shipping for custom projects is typically fulfilled by United Parcel Service, while wholesale orders are typically fulfilled by the postal service. We reserve the right to choose which carrier we use. Customers may opt to use their own carrier; however, a handling fee will be applied (speak with a sales rep for more information) and the shipper’s account number must be specified on the purchase order (otherwise we will use our shipper and bill accordingly).
o Shipping and handling fees are non-negotiable and will be billed extra once the order is assembled
o Please note that batteries cannot be shipped by air and must be sent by ground. Some products do not include batteries – speak with your sales rep to determine if this is your case (we can arrange to purchase and install these for you at reasonable cost).
o We are pleased to provide you with one (1) sample included in the cost of the product. Additional physical samples, or modifications to samples, requested by our customers will entail an additional fee for retooling, setup, taxes, and delivery. These additional fees must be paid in full before delivery of either the sample or the order will take place. Additional pictures, however, will not incur any additional charges.
o Glow Products Canada will not hold or store an item for more than fifteen (15) days. Products that surpass this time limit will be automatically shipped to the address on the purchase order.
- All orders will be billed 5% tax for customers in Canada and 7.5% in Quebec
- GPC does not accept returns on any glow clothing except on defective products (wholesale customers must inspect all their products on arrival)
o Due to the variety of possible uses, our products are sold without warranty of any kind. We assume no liability for damage and/or injury resulting from the use of one of our products.
These terms of service have been in effect since February 26th, 2009. We reserve the right to change these terms of service from time to time and maintain archived copies of our previous terms of service.
